Shares owned by major promoter set record dividend date, yield jumps to 4.62%

The company’s board said in a regulatory filing that “the record date set is September 16, 2022, for the purpose of payment of the final dividend, of Re.5.00/- (Rupee Five only) (100% payment-up value) per capital share to shareholders if declared, at the 36th Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of Puravankara Limited to be held on Tuesday 27 September 2022.”
Shares of Puravankara Ltd closed on Friday at ₹108 each, up 4.20% from the previous close of ₹103.65. At the current market price, the dividend yield increases to 4.62%. Over the past year the stock has fallen 6.17% and on a YTD basis the stock has fallen 22.44% so far in 2022. The stock has gained 1.12% at over the past six months and 8.22% over the past month. On the NSE, the stock had hit a 52-week high of ₹166.50 on (09-Nov-2021) and a 52 week low of ₹78.05 on (Jun 20, 2022) indicating that at the current market price the stock is trading 35.13% below the high and 38.37% above the low. For the quarter ended June 2022, the company recorded a developer stake of 75.00%, which is well above its well-known peers such as Brigade Enterprises, Prestige Estates, Phoenix Mills, Oberoi Realty and Godrej Properties Ltd. At the current market price, the security is trading above the 5-day, 10-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day exponential moving average (EMA).
