NEW YORK, Sep 30, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Madison Realty Capital, a vertically integrated real estate private equity firm focused on debt and equity investment strategies, today announced the continued success of its strategy Lender financing with a total of $ 172 million was created for two loans in New York and New Jersey. The investments are part of Madison’s $ 1.5 billion revenue-driven debt investment vehicle, targeting lighter value-added and core real estate transactions, with a greater focus on income generation with rates of around 4% to 6%.

“We are excited to provide creative financing solutions and to be the lender of choice for major institutional borrowers and other alternative real estate lenders,” said Josh Zegen, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Madison Realty Capital. “Madison has a proven ability to underwrite transactions quickly and provide established lenders with tailored financing solutions to support both unique assets and high quality portfolios across the country at every phase of development. Our lender funding platform offers a unique approach to the changing needs of our borrowers that naturally builds on the success of our core lending platform. We look forward to continuing to identify income-driven opportunities to generate risk-adjusted returns for our investors. ”

Madison’s Lenders Funding Platform recently entered into a $ 112 million first mortgage financing for the development of a multi-family community in New Jersey. The Madison Loan Loan provided attractive pro-rata financing of construction drawdowns, with speed and flexibility throughout closing for the local lender.

Additionally, Madison provided a $ 60 million loan on note to a non-performing loan buyer who acquired a loan on a recently completed and fully stabilized mixed-use building in Brooklyn, New York.

Madison Realty Capital’s income-generating investment strategy provides real estate owners, operators and lenders with access to a wider variety of financing options. The strategy aims to create and acquire senior loans and mezzanine loans as well as to make investments in preferred shares backed by a diversified pool of transitional real estate assets. The vehicle also enables Madison Realty Capital to provide other alternative real estate lenders with financing solutions both on a single asset and on a global portfolio basis.
