LJ Hooker Property Hub Recruits Leading Prestige Agent
Colleen Brunt will bring her many years of experience selling luxury properties to LJ Hooker Property Hub and strengthen the brand’s position in the Gold Coast hinterland.

Luxury land specialist Colleen Brunt has joined LJ Hooker Property Hub where she will focus on lifestyle estates in the Gold Coast hinterland.
Ms Brunt, a resident of Currumbin, joins the busy branch of the upscale Gold Coast boutique agency, where she previously worked for six years.
David Manby, property group manager for LJ Hooker Property Hub, said it was a coup for the agency, with huge demand in lifestyle acreage on the Gold Coast following the pandemic. He had been actively trying to recruit Ms. Brunt for several years, believing that her expertise, skills and dedicated customer service reflected the values of his own team.
“Colleen is a bubbly, friendly and warm person and for someone with a high volume of sales – over $65 million in revenue – she only ever comes across as approachable,” Mr. Manby said. .

After years of working for boutique agencies, Ms Brunt said she started thinking about her future during the pandemic and decided she wanted a new challenge. She is thrilled to have joined LJ Hooker Property Hub and was impressed with the level of support, training and processes provided to agents.
“It’s a great time to make a change and I’ve really enjoyed the wonderful sense of community within the LJ Hooker Property Hub team,” Ms. Brunt said.

Ms Brunt, who has a business background, never planned to work in real estate, but a bad experience with an estate agent put her on a different career path. After moving from South Africa to Queensland, she decided to study for a real estate certificate to better understand the local industry.
After buying her first home, the sales agent convinced her to join his team. Just five years later, she was Coomera Waters’ top-selling agent.
Ms. Brunt will focus on acreage in the Currumbin Valley and Tallebudgera area, which are popular with interstate buyers due to their proximity to the beach, Burleigh Heads and Coolangatta Airport.
“I like to focus on selling properties that aren’t your everyday norm – they each have a story to tell,” she said.
“I’m very creative – definitely not your cookie-cutter real estate, I’m a bit off the beaten track in the way I approach things and it’s worked for me. With each new listing I’ll take my time to walk around the property and really get a sense of what will appeal to buyers and how best to present it to the market.
