Idol Manager is coming to Nintendo Switch this month

|
Playism and developer Glitch Pitch have their black comedy title idol manager pre-order on Nintendo eShop. The game has already been a hit on PC as you play as a manager for a number of Japanese pop stars as you try to take them to the top while facing all the pitfalls along the way. The game will also go on sale on PS4 and PS5 consoles on launch day, which is currently scheduled for August 25, 2022.
In idol manager, set out to create an empire, starting with 5 million yen and free real estate from a sleazy figure desiring the prestige of owning a successful talent agency for idol groups. Spend money to audition new talent, then choose promising candidates based on their skills and attractiveness. Consider other attributes determining how these skills will change as they age, as well as how they will gel with the rest of the party. A prospect could be the next big star, but could his ego and propensity for spilling secrets cause more trouble than it’s worth?
Manage personal relationships with idols, hiring the right agency staff to succeed. Start multiple groups in a quest to control all idols. Research market trends, release attractive singles for the market and increase their popularity with the appropriate performance. Govern group behavior by setting social media penalties, live streaming limitations, and dating dos and don’ts – hard rules can drive talent to rebel, but loose rules may not meet what fans expect from idols.
Try to build an empire, but remember that money doesn’t grow on trees; don’t go bankrupt and don’t do anything too outrageous or illegal. Rivals want to knock out the competition, and they’ll play dirty if they need to. Maybe crime and controversy justify pulling them… The console versions contain all the content from the hit PC version originally released on Steam in 2021, adding controller support. Win multiple endings in Story Mode, with three difficulty modes. Find out how rough and naughty the world of cute girls, singers and dancers can be, adopt a more laid-back experience, or just enjoy the management systems with custom settings in free mode.
