House near neighborhood seen in Netflix’s ‘Outer Banks’ listings

A beautiful four-bedroom, three-bathroom home that looks like something straight out of a magazine has landed on the real estate market in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, for $3.05 million.
And while it has yet to make the pages of Architectural Digest, the neighborhood is quite famous for being one of the locations for the popular Netflix TV series “Outer Banks,” according to a press release.
“Picturesque old village house perfectly located on a tree-lined street is a must-see,” the listing says on Maison Real Estate. “With modern livability in mind, the addition of high-end finishes and luxury upgrades have transformed this home into a move-in ready gem. Nestled in the Old Village, 108 Live Oak is just a few steps from the charming amenities of the Old Village as well as the restaurants and water activities of Shem Creek.”
According to the listing, the elegant 3,900 square foot residence boasts a plethora of fine amenities inside and out, including:
-
Outdoor gas lanterns
-
New mahogany door
-
Wraparound front porch
-
Fresh paint
-
Refurbished floor
-
Ceilings with exposed beams
-
grand staircase
But its proximity to a teen drama location is one of its biggest draws.
“Fans of Netflix’s hugely popular series ‘Outer Banks’ – whose third season has just been announced – will recognize the neighborhood that serves as the backdrop for much of the show and is home to some of the most well-known hotels in Charleston, including the Post House Inn, recently named one of America’s most charming boutique hotels by Vogue,” the statement read.
Another hot spot within walking distance is Abundant Seafood, a restaurant featured in Anthony Bourdain’s “Parts Unknown.”
Mount Pleasant is about 10 miles northeast of Charleston.
