DIY: Living room makeover dubbed ‘just wow’ – ‘you wouldn’t believe it’s the same space’
Interiors enthusiast Stephanie posts images of her stunning home to 80,000 followers on her @thecheshiregreyhome account.
Mom Stephanie shares details of her renovation online, including her stunning living room.
She transformed an empty shell of a house with dated features into a light and warm family space.
Her “crazy” DIY kitchen renovation has been dubbed “honestly one of the most gorgeous kitchens.”
The couple also changed the entire living room, re-upping the old carpet and removing the red brick fireplace, replacing it with white plaster.
They tiled the fireplace with white and gray tiles for a minimalist look, before adding a large wooden beam above the alcove.

The couple installed column heaters from Best Heating.
In the middle of the room stands a coffee table in white wood and glass from Maisons Dumonde, decorated with plants, baskets and vases.
Stephanie’s gray sofas are from Next, and her cushions were made by her mother.
Fans were quick to praise the transformation. One wrote: “Wow love it this is beautiful we have lots of grey, silver and glass in ours.”
“Gorgeous bedroom and transformation,” said another.
Rosie Stanton, who lives with her gorgeous dog Basil and her husband, has transformed the once dated property.
The couple opted for Squid Ink from the paint and paper library.
It is described by the brand as: “An anthracite blue, the ink color of a fountain pen. Elegant on front doors, shutters or in the library.”
Rosie said: “We wanted to be bold with the color as we had left an apartment painted light gray throughout, so we wanted to be more adventurous this time around.”
