Construction lawyer Chip Pierce moves to Rosenberg & Estis

Rosenberg & Estis, PC, one of New York’s leading real estate law firms, announced that veteran New York construction attorney Charles “Chip” R. Pierce, Jr. has joined the firm in as a member.
Pierce, a seasoned litigator with extensive experience in construction matters, will lead Rosenberg & Estis’ growing construction law practice as the firm strengthens its position as a leader in comprehensive real estate legal services.
During his 30 year career in construction law, Pierce has advised a wide range of clients in the construction industry – including owners, developers, construction managers, contractors, fabricators, suppliers, architects, engineers and designers – in their commercial and contractual relations.
He has worked with the nation’s largest real estate owners in asset acquisitions, sales and development, and negotiation of construction contracts. He has also represented clients in complex dispute resolutions, including mediation, litigation and arbitration.
A trained mediator and frequent speaker on construction law topics, Pierce is a member of the Construction Law Society of America (CLSA) and is widely recognized for his accomplishments in the real estate industry and the legal profession.

Prior to joining Rosenberg & Estis, Pierce was a partner at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP for nine years. He began his legal career at Shea & Gould after graduating from Washington and Lee University School of Law cum laude and Order of the Coif. Pierce ran his own namesake business for 13 years after working at Baer Marks & Upham as well as Zetlin & De Chiara LLP.
