Charter Real Estate promotes Amie Thomas to CFO
Amie Thomas has been promoted to CFO of NAI Charter Real Estate.
She began her career at NAI Charter in 2003 as a corporate accountant after earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
In his new role, Thomas manages all financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting for the company accounts, as well as property management accounts.
Julius Dodds named Dean of Academic Achievement at Chattanooga State
Julius Dodds has been named Dean of Academic Achievement at Chattanooga State Community College.
Prior to his college work, Dodds served as Director of Retention and Counseling at UTC and held leadership positions at other colleges where he managed academic initiatives.
âJulius has been Director of Academic Retention since 2011, where he led the Achieving the Dream and Title III Strengthening Institutions grant work,â said Dr. Beth Norton, Vice President of Academic Affairs at UTC.
Robert Rhea runs food and beverage at McLemore Golf Resort
Robert Rhea has been appointed director of food and beverage at McLemore, the golf resort and residential community at the top of Lookout Mountain.
Rhea most recently served as Director of Food & Beverage at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston, Autograph Collection. While at the Grand Bohemian, Rhea oversaw all aspects of the Marriott boutique dining program, including the creation of the venue’s highly successful weekly brunch event, “The Mad Hatter Brunch and Day Party.”
Prior to her tenure in Charleston, Rhea worked at the Madeline Hotel and Residences in Telluride, Colorado; Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas in Page, Arizona, Hilton Cabana in Miami Beach; Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Missouri and Hawks Cay Resort in Duck Key, Florida.
Rhea has developed innovative menu and bar concepts, operational strategies, advertising plans and the management of multiple revenue centers during her ten year career. In addition, Mr. Rhea has met the high brand standards of Leading Hotels of the World, Preferred Hotels, Forbes 4 Star and AAA 4 Diamond.
