Anthony DeNoia Obituary (2022) – Wappingers Falls, NY
Anthony “Tony” DeNoia, 93, of Wappingers Falls, NY, entered eternal life on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Putnam Hospital Center, Carmel, NY
Tony was the son of the late Anthony and Carmella Louse DeNoia.
In his early years, Tony was involved in owning real estate, while working with his love of thoroughbred horses.
He will always be remembered for his dedication to his beloved wife, Bernadine and her family and as a “horse” man who worked for over 30 years for Tilly Foster Horse Farm in Carmel and Brewster, NY He has continued to work with horses until very late in his life.
In addition to his parents, Tony was predeceased by his beloved wife, Bernadine; his sisters, Mary Occapinti and Lucy Simone; and his brothers, Jimmy, Johnnie and Mikey DeNoia.
Tony will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was the kindest soul and a gentleman to all who knew and met him.
Tony is survived by his children, Jodi Maloney and her husband, Delbert, Wappingers Falls, NY; Lori Gabrielli and her husband, Albert, Lake Forest, CA; Anthony Anzalone and Anna Ciosek, Patterson, NY; Grace Ann Bochak and her husband, John, Villas, NJ; his granddaughter, Jessica Maloney, New Haven, Connecticut; his sister, Rachel Tkach, Scranton; his niece, Delores and her husband, Ray Zimmerman, Dunmore; and nieces, nephew and many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with a Christian burial mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Monica Parish, 363 W. Eighth St., West Wyoming, with the Le Reverend Peter Tomczak officiating.
Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton, where military honors will be bestowed by the United States Army.
Family and friends can call from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday morning at the funeral home.
